Email for contracts

Never ask “where’s that contract?” again.

One inbox for every contract you send and receive, sorted by whose turn it is. It flags terms you wouldn’t accept, shows who’s stalling, and warns you before anything renews on its own.

Who it’s for

Most contract software is built for the legal department and sold through a demo.

This one is built for the person who has to get the contract signed this week: the founder, the sales lead, the ops manager, and the lawyer who backs them up. You can start in the next five minutes.

A week in econtracts.ai

Less chasing. Fewer surprises. One place to look.

  1. Mon9:12

Priya asks for 60-day payment terms. Your playbook caps it at 45, so it’s flagged. You counter with 45; she sees the redline.

  2. Tue11:40

Karan opened the NDA yesterday and hasn’t signed. You can see that. One tap sends a reminder.

  3. Wed16:05

The Cloudnest deal is over your approval limit. Legal approves it from their phone; it goes out to sign.

  4. Thu8:30

Heads-up: the office lease renews itself in 60 days, and notice is due by 10 December. It’s already in your calendar.

  5. Fri17:55

Everything signed. Certificates filed in the Vault. “Your turn” is empty. Go home.

Names are illustrative. Every step shown is in the product today.

What changes

Three things you stop doing

01

Digging through threads

Every contract has one status and one next step: yours, theirs, or an approver’s. Versions, comments and signatures live with the contract, not in reply-all.

02

Reading 30 pages to find clause 14

Upload theirs or draft yours and get the short version: dates, money, who must do what, and the points that break your rules, each quoting the clause.

03

Finding renewals after they’ve renewed

End dates and notice deadlines come out of every signed contract and land in Upcoming and your calendar, with reminders 30, 7 and 1 days before.

The other side

Your customer doesn’t want another login.

So they don’t get one. They get an email with a plain-English review and one link. They can read, suggest a change, sign or decline on their phone, in the order you set.

  1. Email arrives. “Please sign: Mutual NDA” with the three things that matter.
  2. They read the review, or the full document, with any changes since last time marked.
  3. They suggest a change to any clause. You see it as a tracked change.
  4. They sign. Everyone gets the signed PDF and its certificate.

How we work

No AI theatre. Just answers you can check.

Reviews and playbook flags come from rules that quote the clause they rely on, so you can see exactly why something was flagged, and your contracts never train anyone’s model.

Proof on every signature

Who signed, when, from where, how they proved it was them, every version negotiated, and a fingerprint of the exact wording.

The right law, per contract

Guidance for India, the UK, the US, the EU, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada and the UAE, including stamp duty where it applies.

Identity that fits the deal

An email link for an NDA. A one-time code for a contractor. Aadhaar eSign or a national e-ID when the stakes are higher.

Pricing

Priced like software, not like a law firm.

The price is on the page. The people you send contracts to are always free. Billed in US dollars; checkout shows your local currency.

Fair questions

Before you send one

Is an e-signature actually legally binding?

For most business contracts, yes: under the ESIGN Act and UETA in the US, eIDAS in the EU, the Electronic Communications Act in the UK and the IT Act in India, among others. A few documents still need paper or a notary, such as wills, some property deeds and some powers of attorney. Each contract shows the rules for its governing law before you send it.

Does the other side need to sign up?

No. They get a normal email and one link. They can read a plain-English review, suggest a change, sign or decline from their phone. No account, no app, no password.

What proves it was signed?

Every signed PDF carries a certificate: who signed, when, from which IP address, how their identity was checked, every version you negotiated, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact wording.

Do I need to talk to sales?

No. Sign in with your email and send your first contract in a few minutes. Teams can upgrade to Basic or Business from settings.

Can we use our own templates?

Yes. Save your own, and have your legal team approve them before anyone can use them. Or upload a contract you already have and send it as it is.

Is our contract data used to train AI?

No. Reviews and playbook checks come from rules that quote the clause they are based on, so your documents are not sent to an AI model.

Make your next contract the last one you chase.

Free to start. Teams from $30 a month. Your counterparties never pay or sign up.
